How To Shop.
Here
we will tell you how to find and order the products from thehairshop.co.uk
making your shopping experience faster and easier.
Step
1 - Finding your products.
There are various ways to find the products that you require,
you can either search our products globally or by individual
manufacturers. You may already have a favorite manufacturer.
We have tried to make finding the products you want as easy
as possible. Below we will list them.
Global
Search - Use the search box in the top right hand
corner of the screen, type in the keywords that you would
like to look for, try to be specific, typing "shampoo"
would result in 100's of results.
Category
Searching - Click on the magnifying glass symbol
in the menu to the top right of the screen, from here you
can enter your keywords, choose the categories you would like
to perform your search in and also select whether you would
like to display your results by price!
Manufacturer
Search - If you already know which manufacturers
products you would like to purchase you can select their name
from the list on the left. This gives you a page displaying
a brief synopsis of the company and the option to search all
their products by entering your keyword. View selected products
by clicking on the relevant link i.e. 'shampoo' or view all
their products by clicking on 'all'.
Step
2 - Adding products to your shopping cart.
Once
you have found the product you wish to purchase, enter the
quantity and click the 'buy' button. This will display a shopping
cart with the current items in your cart. quantity and total
price. If you wish to continue shopping and purchase more
products click on the 'Continue Shopping' button. You can
also change the quantity of the products you have ordered
by changing the number in the quantity box and clicking the
'Recalculate' button. Once you have all the products you require
click on the 'Proceed To Checkout' Button.
Step
3 - Entering your details.
Returning
Customer - If you are a returning customer and have
selected the 'save your details' box when you registered,
this page may be filled out for you, making shopping even
quicker. If not and you have already shopped you would have
created a username (which is your email address) and a password
on your first visit. Enter these into the box and your details
will be recalled from the database. If you have forgotten
your password, click on the 'forgotten password?' link.
New
Customer - If you are a new customer to thehairshop
you will need to register your details with us. Fill out all
the required fields that are marked with a * and select your
shipping address as well. Once you have done this click on
the 'Continue' button.
Step
4 - Finalising your purchase
The
next screen will display the goods you have ordered, the shipping
costs and also the discount you will receive and the total
purchase price. If you are satisfied, click on the 'Continue'
button to enter your payment details.
This screen is now secure, you can tell this by the padlock
that is displayed in the bottom of your browser window and
also by the first part of the URL which will read https://
instead of http:// the s meaning that it is secure.
If
you wish to pay by credit or debit card select the appropriate
card from the drop down list. Enter the appropriate details
for your card and then click 'Continue' If you wish to purchase
by cheque select cheque from the drop down menu under 'Other
Payment Types' and click 'Continue'.
The
next page is your order confirmation, if paying by cheque
print this page and send it with your payment to the address
at the bottom of the page. If you payed by credit or debit
card you may wish to print this page for your records. You
will also receive an email confirmation of your order. Once
your payment details have been confirmed your goods will be
shipped from our warehouse.
If

for enquiries regarding a specific order, please log into
your customer account by selecting login from the customer
menu at the top of the page. Select the order in question
and then click 'track' type your message and click 'send'
This way both yourself and us have a record of all communications.
